After taking a step back from childcare, I have decided that I would like to pursue my career in bookkeeping and office administration.
CRC stood out to me by the way that they deal with their clients. I like that the company is not your traditional accounting firm in a way that they build strong relationships with their clients. Currently my interests lie with furthering my knowledge in bookkeeping and admin, although I would like to gain a qualification potentially in business management or accounting.
My passion for helping people has always been something I have carried with me through-out my life and career whether that be helping children learn to walk, assisting a business with their social media pages, or doing the smallest things like proof-reading a document – Helping my colleagues and clients is what I live for!
After a few years of frequently visiting Orkney, I finally decided to make the move. I love the beautiful landscapes and sense of community in the area, It truly feels like home. Originally I am from Edinburgh. Very fast-paced and lively. As much as I enjoyed my time in the big city, I missed that ‘homey’ feeling.
After my first trip to Orkney I remember thinking that I could see myself settling down here!
