Born and raised in Orkney, I moved to Aberdeen to study and after a few years working away I approached CRC to see if there was any opportunities available to allow me to move back home. As they say, the rest is history and I have since completed my professional exams and became a Chartered Accountant in January 2021, with the support of the rest of the team!
Working in such a forward thinking firm has allowed me to build on and develop new skills and strive to provide the best value to our clients, providing great job satisfaction and a working week that is never the same!
With the passion and drive within the CRC team, the evolving future of the firm is definitely an exciting process to be part of!
Being brought up on a farm has given me a keen interest in farming from a young age and I joined Young Farmers when I was 14. This is a great association for meeting new people but also learning new skills which have been very useful throughout my academic studies and working life.
Orkney also possesses some of the best views and I love nothing more than escaping for a long walk along the Orkney coast!
