If you're between 18-30, like me (hard to believe, I know!), you might qualify for the new grant announced by The Prince's Trust.
The Enterprise Relief Fund is a £5m pot aimed at helping young people who are self-employed and/or a business owner.
The grants - believed to be up to £5k - are there to help ease cashflow constraints resulting from coronavirus, and to help businesses diversify in order to come out of this situation stronger than before!
The Prince's Trust will also be offering one-to-one support to anyone who is worried about their future.
Do you qualify?
Whilst relatively few details are known so far, they have confirmed that in order to be eligible you must:
- be between 18-30 years old
- be self employed and/or run your own business
- have set up your business within the last 4 years.
They have also confirmed that people who have previously claimed grants from The Prince's Trust will still be able to claim from this pot.
How do you sign up?
More details about how to submit a formal application will be coming soon. But to register your interest meantime, just jump on over to The Prince's Trust's website, and fill out the form here.
Well done, Prince's Trust!
