CRC has plenty to celebrate this month, and one standout achievement comes from a member of our own team - Brogan Russell, who has just earned straight A’s in his recent university exams. Huge well-done Brogan!!
With CRC’s support, Brogan is now halfway through the Graduate Apprenticeship programme with UHI Orkney - a four‑year course that combines structured academic study with hands‑on experience in our workplace. Once completed, he’ll earn a degree in Business Management.
Brogan's recent academic success highlights why graduate apprenticeships are becoming an increasingly popular choice for young people. By choosing a graduate apprenticeship, Brogan is able to gain a university education and build valuable real-world experience with CRC, all while also earning a wage full time – win win!
For many young people in Orkney, graduate apprenticeships also provide the opportunity to remain within the local community - as a keen sports man, we’re delighted Brogan can continue to play rugby, football and squash locally.
Reflecting on his journey so far, Brogan said:
“Economics has been my favourite module so far, and I’ve enjoyed being able to apply what I learn at university directly to my role at CRC. There’s a real sense of achievement in taking a client’s accounts from start to finish.”
Keep up the good work Brogan!
