We're looking for someone to bolster our bookkeeping efforts, as well as our in-house admin team.

This is an Orkney-based role. You’ll work from our beautiful offices at The Old Library coworking space, alongside our existing CRC and Old Library team!
This role will require a commitment of at least 3 days per week, but could be up to full time (35 hours per week) for the right applicant.

Administrator / Bookkeeping Support
Package
- Salary - £23,000 - £27,000 DOE (pro rata based on 35 hour week)
- Minimum of 21 hours per week
- 5% Employers Pension
- Private Health Insurance (can be extended to your immediate family)
- 30 days annual leave
What you’ll be doing
- Dealing with client enquiries, and liaising with relevant team members
- Helping the delivery team ensure all client information is in and complete
- Assisting with client onboardings
- Support with ad hoc administration for The Old Library
- Preparing VAT returns
- Supporting senior members of the compliance and commercial teams
- Supporting ad hoc requests from the team
- Leaving clients and the team with a smile on their face!
Qualifications and skills
- No formal qualifications needed, but previous experience in a relevant role would be beneficial (customer service, administration, etc).
- Prior experience of bookkeeping processing is essential.
- An enjoyment of working for different clients whilst understanding their individual needs.
- Strong computer skills, with particular experience in Excel.
- Experience with cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
