This week we are heading to London to attend the annual Accounting Excellence Awards ceremony!
To some of you Orkney to London may seem like a long distance, but, in reality, it’s only two flights! To us location has never been a barrier, we service businesses across the UK! So, we’re no strangers to travelling.
A lot can be done via Zoom, but we also feel that it’s great to catch up off screen too!
We have been shortlisted in the category ‘Sole Practitioner of the year’ and although Calvin is the sole owner (for now) we know that everyone within our team have played a very important role in getting us to where we are today! We’ve had new starts, a pandemic, lockdowns, facemasks, more lockdowns, zoom calls, passed exams, champagne, purchasing our future office (no. 42), pizza nights, face to face meetings, work trips, lateral flow tests and really that’s just the past year!
Win or lose, we still are finalists!! We’ll take this night to celebrate how far we have come as a firm!
