This morning we received the superb news that we'd been nominated as a finalist in the Sole Practitioner of the Year 2021 category for the Accounting Excellence awards.
Whilst our firm is a sole practitioner firm (one owner), achieving this nomination has by no means all been down to me. Not by a long way.
Everything we do here is a team effort, and I'd like to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful clients, our mentors and external advisors, and most importantly, to our team here at CRC! Without you guys, we wouldn't be building the firm we're building.
This past year has been bonkers - for COVID, for the way our business has changed, through to the purchase of 42JR, and now this. And whilst I'm often guilty of being too focussed on the next target, the next stage of growth, the next win; we're going to sit and enjoy this one. This feels like some very nice recognition for everything that's been put in place so far!
The final is being held at The Brewery in London in October. Time to get the kilt dusted off!
