September 2nd 2022, by Calvin Cooper

The first round of the Flywheel was a blast! And we thought it'd be terribly rude not to open up the books to another group of local businesses!

What's it all about?

Don't just listen to us bang on about here - let's hear from Cohort 1 themselves...

What's going to be included this time round?

We've honed in the model, listened to the feedback from the last group, and developed a Sweet 6 sessions for this time round.

They are, in running order:

  1. Let's talk vision - getting clear on where you and your team want to go, and understanding your communication style.
  2. In the driving seat - helping you get clear on the numbers (financial and non-financial) needed to achieve your vision, and how you move them in your favour!
  3. It's all about the people - clarity on your own values, your business's core values, and the culture you're developing within your team.
  4. How we do things - nailing your internal processes to execute your vision, and how present & market yourself to your ideal customers.
  5. One-to-one - a chance for you to sit down one-to-one with Diane and Calvin, and discuss specific burning issues for you and your business. Anchoring in key points from the course so far, without having to discuss it in front of the whole group.
  6. The Flywheel Effect - planning for the future, harnessing the momentum you've gained throughout the programme, and getting clear on how you can keep it going!

All that business development goodness for the tasty price of £2,000+VAT!

Delivering value is absolutely key for us

We'll be kicking off in November 2022, and running 1 session per month until April 2023. The sessions will almost always be held on a Friday, allowing you to mull over the learnings over the weekend - without the day-to-day distractions of work!

Delivering value is absolutely key for us, as is supporting other local businesses, freelancers and caterers. As well as filling you up with great content and advice, we'll be sure to keep you well fed on great local food and drink!

Growth for the mind, and the belly!

Is it right for me?

As touched on in the video above, the programme is open to business owners, as well as management/senior team members.

A few key questions you might like to ask yourself are:

  • Are all of my team rowing in the same direction? Or, for keeping moving your business forward, would you like a bit more alignment within the team?
  • Am I 100% on top the finances of my business, and the future finances needed for my lifestyle and the future of the business? Or, could a bit more clarity potentially help you create a better business, and/or better lifestyle?
  • Whether it's growth, looking to retire/sell up, or simply looking to get more time-freedom; am I completely sure about how I can make my business less reliant on me being there all the time, and build a model that gives me potential exit options?

We had a range of different businesses on the course last time, and a range of people from within those businesses. Regardless of sector, stage, size, etc, we found that everyone was able to gain value & clarity in the above areas.

Ultimately, it's your business. And it's your own personal desires.

We simply flex our advice and input to ensure you get to achieve what you desire.
